Kids In Need of McHenry County is a referral-based organization. All families are required to register before scheduling shopping appointments, submitting requests, or participating in school supply or gift events. Registration must be supported by a referral from a case worker, organization social worker, or school social worker.

We invite our families to shop once per quarter.

You can submit requests for items to be picked up or delivered.
This counts as 1 of your 4 shopping appointments.
Delivery available within McHenry County when transportation isn’t available.

We offer playdates, special events and support groups for our foster, adoptive and DCFS kinship placements.
